Jonathan is a Visual Artist and Photography Specialist from the National University of Colombia. Master in Visual Arts from UNAM in Mexico. He works and resides in Bogotá. He has been a professor at the National University of Colombia, Jorge Tadeo Lozano University and the Metropolitan Technological Institute of Medellín ITM. He has also worked as Tutor Artist in the MAMBO PFA Artistic Training Program. In 2013 he was the winner of first place in the 7 Salón de Arte Joven del Club el Nogal. In 2014 he obtained the scholarship of the Young Artists program granted by ICETEX for studies abroad. That same year he was selected to exhibit in the ARTBO Antechamber space. In 2015 he obtained a scholarship from UNAM to do research in the Master of Photography at the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain. In 2016 he obtained second place in the 9th Salón de Arte Joven of the Embassy of Spain and Colsanitas. Finally, in 2018 he obtained an Honorable Mention in the call of the Ministry of Culture of Colombia to intervene in the space Fragmentos de la Maestra Doris Salcedo. He has exhibited in different spaces and media in France, Spain, Mexico, Chile and Colombia.
